Family Stories: Tyler and Felicia Dougherty

Myles Kroll shares vegetables in the backyard of his updated energy efficient home

Congratulations to the Dougherty family who moved into their new home in May 2020 in the Birchwood neighborhood! This home was a resale, meaning the home was already part of the Trust, previously owned by another KulshanCLT family, the Nuckolls. The Doughertys had been renting an apartment and waited a long time for their chance to buy a KulshanCLT home. Tyler's recent promotion at Onyx Coffee at just the right time helped push things forward.

Along with the house and an outbuilding, the home came with chickens left by the Nuckolls, plus a tree swing, a tree house in an incredible apple tree and a lot of space for the kids to play.

Tyler loves their new garden and is enjoying learning about his new chickens. Felicia, who is a photographer and co-teacher at Gardenview Montessori School, likes her new bathtub. They are all appreciating the outdoor space for the kids to play.

Tomorrow will be Felicia's first Mother's Day in their new home. We're delighted to welcome the Doughertys to the KulshanCLT family.
