KulshanCLT is a Housing and Urban Development (HUD) -Approved Housing Counseling Agency.
If you need help, we offer free pre-purchase counseling to anyone in our community.

Pre-Purchase Counseling

Have you ever wondered what to do when you:

  • are tired of renting?

  • own a home but it’s not going well?

  • can’t get your finances under control?

  • are facing loss of income or major life changes?

Our housing counselors may be able to help or refer you to someone who can.

To schedule your pre-purchase counseling, call us at 360-671-5600 or email us. You’ll be asked to fill out an intake form, fill out a budget, and submit additional documentation that will help us help you.

Looking for Homebuyer Education Classes?

KulshanCLT is not currently conducting homebuyer education classes.

There are many available online.

If you are in need of a class for a loan closing, please see the WSHFC website for these virtual options.

Civil Legal Aid

Low- to moderate-income homeowners may also be eligible for help from the statewide civil legal aid toll-free hotline. Call 1-800-606-4819.

Beware of Foreclosure Scams

You shouldn’t have to pay for foreclosure or housing counseling in WA. If someone promises to “fix” your problems for a fee, please check the WA Dept. of Financial Institutions website to see if it’s a scam.
